This may be an older article but it so hit home with me (with the exception of the chili bowl hair…I had a Jheri Curl…let us bow our heads in shame together! LOL!). Wow that was really good and so insightful. I found out about your website thru another person’s facebook page, I briefly looked over it yesterday, but now I am back and I want to know more. This was the first blog entry I read all the way through and it was really good. Its making me think about what i can do with where I am now, and really use it to benefit me in the future. This is my third or fourth time on your site. I come here to buy the book… but end up reading and watching videos of you and then forget to buy that book! I guess I had more to learn yet, as this post proves. True story: If I had the money, I never would have had to work my way through my MBA. If I had never had to work my way through my MBA, I never would have found my way onto this research project, and it would have taken ten years to accomplish what I got done in one. There is no end to what the mind is capable of if we just give it a chance. I often point out, “Your biggest strength is your biggest weakness too” but I love that you point out the opposite, “Your biggest weakness is your biggest strength!” This really is how it works! Meet the challenges that come your way and you will be stronger for it. Success seems hard, but it’s a whole lot easier than trying to hide from difficulty, since difficulty will find you no matter how far you run!

Its funny, growing up you hear people say “If you put your mind to it, you can do anything.” Or, “Some people see the glass as half empty, try and see it half full.” Its not until you sit back and take a good look at whats going on, do you fully understand the value of what was given to you in those statements. Great story!

I am glad God placed you in my life because I fell were you are coming from! My mom was murder and society say I am suppose to be in jail but without a test I would not have a testimony to tell my story and help others! May God continue to use you to help other.
