		<description>Thanks again for a great article. I am continually amazed at how many people attend networking receptions and events, but do not follow up with their contacts afterwards.

I&#039;ve been able to make some amazing connections simply by showing up... taking the initiative to follow up, remember the individuals I spoke with, and the details of our conversation.

One strategy I find helpful is to send something to my contacts about 24-48 hours after meeting them that they&#039;ll find useful... an interesting article from their area of expertise, the name and contact info for a colleague that could be helpful, etc.</description>
